Some advice on how to walk in the forest in accordance with the law
Pedestrians and hikers must stay on the paths and tracks. Walking through the forest is forbidden as it is detrimental to the peace and quiet of the forest.
Firebreaks are grassy areas intended for forest wildlife. They are not paths or trails. Firebreaks are simply forbidden to enter!
Bicycles and horse riders are allowed on forest roads. Trails, which allow only one hiker to pass at a time, cannot be used by bicycles or horse riders. As with pedestrians, “through-tracking” is prohibited for bicycles and horse riders.
The use of motor vehicles in the forest is prohibited. This also applies to motorbikes and quad bikes.
